Limits of form

We have all been given this life, full of different experiences.
Most of the time in our life goes in satisfying the senses, it includes basic needs like food, shelter, procreate. Modern times have given a vast realm of options for sense perceptions satisfaction or in other words a sea of choices to indulge on.
This includes not only watching TV, or sitting in comfort but going after more of money, more of fame, more sex, more peace of mind (whatever that means). Even spirituality is like that, we need more enlightenment, anyone? better meditation, more hours, maybe 10,000 hours would do it.
There are folks who find the deep satisfaction in ambitions that are outwards in nature, as I said money, fame, power, property, sex etc. Then there are few so called spiritual ones, who want more of relaxation, peace of mind, mental states to be experienced, understanding and eventually enlightenment.
But what is the difference or rather is there a difference? We are all limited by our wants of more, all that changes is direction or rather area of interest.
In either case, it seems we aren't so different, someone who is highly successful and ambitious in material world may claim all the spiritual stuff is stupid, and the other way round is also true.
But if we look at it, humans are nothing but highly limited due to the nature of form. Sometimes it feels so sad to be in this form, like no experience can provide deep satisfaction or even if it does provide some form of peace, it doesn't last.
So why do we seek such achievements, material or spiritual. Maybe it is a deep desire to be bigger than the limited form. Expand ourselves so we become more and more.
One way to interpret is expansion of ego, where we want to feel more important than others, however there maybe a different deep desire. What if the whole idea of all the doing is simple to get rid of this limited form and become omnipresent ?
If that’s the case and it seems to be, then anything we do in life or achieve would remain limited because we aren’t limited by the achievement itself. We are limited by the form, i.e. this body and mind. So as long as we feel ourselves same as body or mind, we would continue to strive for some form of achievement and continue to be discontent.
