If only we could keep what we like, if only we could push away what we don't.

But the reality of life is something else, from the time I started writing first line of this post to now, life has changed for so many. There are numerous accidents, many got married, became parents, lost their loved ones, became rich, or lost everything. In short 1 second is all that is needed to make or break it.

If we really realise the reality of this, it is profound truth of life, nothing is forever. Not only that but it is changing all the time, we may not be able to perceive it all the time but it is.

In that case why bother with anything in life? If all this is going to pass, the most pleasant moments of life to worst possible times. If all this is going to go away what is it all for?

At this point someone might have this comment, which I do also at times. All these are full stomach problems, talk about this to someone who is struggling to make their ends meet. I would agree, and would add that problems of life also evolve over time. When we were toddlers, walking was a problem, but not anymore.

That’s simply the nature of life, it has to evolve and grow at higher level and so are our problems. As individuals and as well as a group or species.

Coming back to the question, if all is going to pass why bother. I think if we look at it another way this gives tremendous freedom. Nothing is going to stay, so why attach so much of our identities on these passing phenomenons.

Why not be free outside of this changing game and enjoy the view of it? But then we must participate in the game also, because we have not been given a choice. The moment we were born, the game started and we were never asked if we wanted to be born or not.

So may be the point of all this doing, amidst fragile nature of world is simply to be informed or rather realise the true nature of things.

Which is all this isn’t for real, whatever is real would stay, whatever is not would go away.

Nice Read Gaurav. And because it is so fleeting and changes in the blink of an eye, that we need to appreciate the value of the little things we have. Gratitude !
